We are currently recruiting for a dynamic Head to run and manage our Independent Specialists and Wine Brokers division. We need someone who is passionate and driven, with the expertise and interest within this sales channel. This is an active and visible role requiring excellent customer relationship skills. Working as part of a team, you will be expected to positively contribute to the performance of the business and build strong local relationships with your customers and internal teams.
Berkmann Wine Cellars is a premium wine distributor and we represent award winning wines from around the world. You will be lucky enough to act as a brand ambassador for our fantastic portfolio, representing iconic brands such as Antinori, Ridge and Vega Sicilia. However, it is critical that you have a sophisticated grasp of the independent specialist and / or broker sector. Amongst other things you will be a proven effective manager, with excellent cross team interpersonal skills, who can develop and implement a sales strategy and align your team’s KPIs so that they help to achieve the overall objectives.
Our selection and interview process will be tough and may involve delivering a presentation at final stage interview. If the applicant can’t handle the requirements of this process then it is likely the role will not be for them.

This role is 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday and whilst the core hours are 9:00 to 17:30 there will be some evening or weekend work required.
