As a company with its roots embedded in the hospitality industry, Berkmann knows that passion and knowledge are at the heart of great service. We also understand that service is demanding and that not all of your staff can be spared from the floor for long periods of time in training.
For that reason, we identified a need for a practical wine education programme tailored specifically to the on-trade. Veraison was launched in 2016, following two years of research and development. It offers focused wine-in-service training across practical 1-1.5 hour sessions.
The professional and engaging Veraison tutors deliver tailored training on site, to educate and inspire your front-of-house staff. In this way, Veraison aims to raise the standard of wine knowledge in restaurants, hotels, pubs and bars, establishing a confident wine service culture.
In addition, we have a strong bond with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and offer customers their Level 1 award in wines, Level 2 in wines and spirits and Level 3 in wines. Courses run throughout the year in both our London and York offices.
