Discover Jacquesson: A Different Expression of Champagne

Sommelier Edit and Berkmann Wine Cellars welcomed guests to a Discover Series tasting led by Alex Hunt MW, exploring what makes Jacquesson one of Champagne’s most distinctive houses. From its signature 700 Series to late-disgorged releases and single-vineyard wines, the tasting revealed how vintage and vineyard shape each cuvée.

Founded in 1798, Jacquesson combines a rich heritage of innovation with a simple ambition: to make the best possible wine from each harvest, rather than recreate the same blend every year. Individually numbered cuvées, transparent labelling and low dosage put the character of the vineyards centre stage—offering guests an insight into a house that has helped redefine non-vintage Champagne.
